What is this?
TravelOwl exposes your trips to Claude through an MCP (Model Context Protocol) connector. Instead of describing a plan in a chat window that goes nowhere, Claude calls TravelOwl directly — the result is a real, structured trip in your account that you (and anyone you share it with) can keep editing in the app.
TravelOwl stays the durable, collaborative home for the trip; Claude is just the conversational way to build it.
Setup
1. Add the connector
In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector and enter:

2. Log in
Claude will ask you to log in — use your existing TravelOwl account. Nothing is shared with anyone else; each person authorizes their own account.
3. Start planning
Ask Claude something like:
“Plan me 3 days in Lisbon with TravelOwl — mix of food, museums, and one day trip to Sintra. Create it as a holiday and add the activities.”
What Claude can do
- Create and look up trips – full multi-city, day-by-day plans in a single conversation.
- Activities, accommodation & transport – add, update, or remove any of them.
- Expenses – track costs as you plan.
- Checklists & notes – packing lists and a trip notebook.
Claude only acts on what you ask about in the conversation.
